Why doesn’t visualisation work for you?

Make visualization work for you

I am sure that – if you are on this website – you probably heard about visualisation and manifestation before. Even if just from my Instagram videos that I share or just randomly on the internet. Maybe you have even tried to visualise your dream future, your dream body, job, or something, and it just didn’t work for you.

It might be, because you are not 100% in the mind space or magnetic field of actually getting into the “zone” of feeling elevated to the level where visualisation can become just easy and naturally flowing for you. It is the case for most people, at first. And even throughout time. And has a simple reasoning behind it – visualisation by itself is not enough.

Visualisation is not enough

If you visualise what you want to look like, what car or house you want to have, it most probably will not just magically appear in your arms or at your doorstep. This works, but usually for the people who have learnt how to enter the “quantum field” and learnt how to manipulate reality and attract these things into their lives effortlessly. But let’s say, we are regular humans, who do not practice stepping into the quantum field on a daily basis – alright?

For our visions to come to life, we must act. But the thing is – the brain is somehow “willing” to take us mostly to the places and situations it is familiar with. So it is not that easy for us to step out of our cycles or our routines and to actually act on our goals and dreams, if the brain is not familiar with them. Even if you know what you want, the knowing itself in some cases might not be enough for some of us to go and vigorously take one action after another to achieve the wanted destination.

How to convince your brain to take action?

In order to make our brains familiar with the desired destination, it needs to be familiar with it, for it to not be afraid of the “unknown”, because that is how we are programmed, as humans. This is where visualisation comes into play.

How to make visualisation work for you, really?

The simple step is to – get clear on your goals, write them down or have a clear and visual image of them in your mind. Then get into a meditation pose or lay on your bed, take a few deep breaths and “step” into your vision. Imagine all the smells and tastes of the situation as if it was true. Imagine what you look like, most importantly imagine what you feel like, how you talk, picture all the details of the goal in your mind as clear as you can. This way your brain will become more familiar with the desired goal and how it feels and it will be easier for it to allow you to take the steps towards the goal. It will no longer be an unknown territory which might dangerous for us, because we naturally fear things that are unknown for us.

How do I take action?

The brain will start noticing the opportunities that would lead you to your goal more often, it will be more open to do the things needed for you to do to achieve those goals and dreams and it will literally “try” to find the best and easiest way for you to accomplish them.

It will be pushing you through by insights and intuition to go and do those things. Then you need to act upon these hunches and internal or external impulses, instead of pushing them back and ignoring them, while watching Netflix or scrolling on social media. You, your mind, brain and soul will know what to do or will always at least see the first step of the staircase. You just need to follow it and take the step.

Try to repeat this form of visualisation a few times a week and see that it will become easier for you to take the steps necessary to achieve this dream or goal. The brain will now strive for these actions, because it will be so familiar with it, that it will long for it. It will now push you, instead of making you scared and afraid of it.

Conclusion

I believe this article gave you some insights into why visualising your goals doesn’t always work for you. Give these things a try and see that your life will actually start changing and moving towards your goals. I wish you best of luck and a wonderful day my dear reader.

Peace! xx
